Whether you are welcoming your first child or growing your family, a newborn session is about more than just your baby. It is about honoring you as new parents and documenting this fleeting moment when everything feels new. These early days mark a profound shift in your family’s story — a beginning worth remembering.
Most newborn sessions take place in your home, where life with your new baby is naturally unfolding. The pace is slow and relaxed. There’s no need to tidy up or stress about outfits. Just spend time with your baby and your family as you normally would, and I’ll gently observe and guide when needed, capturing the quiet moments and connections that make these early days so special.

No wedding day is perfectly scripted, and that’s part of what makes it meaningful. The beauty lives in the unscripted moments — the laughter, the nerves, the quiet exchanges that happen in between. Photographing a wedding means paying attention to those moments as they unfold in real time. My goal is to document the day truthfully so that when you look back years from now, you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt. The emotion of the day belongs to you. I’m simply there to witness it.

Your session is about you. I love when children dress themselves and personalities shine through. I can offer wardrobe guidance if you’d like, but comfort is most important. Forget perfectly matched outfits — authenticity always looks best on camera.
What should be worn for a session?
Studio sessions are usually an hour and home sessions usually last 1.5–2 hours, with breaks as needed — because life happens! I don’t rush in with a camera; I ease in, play with your kids (and pets), and spend time getting to know your family.
My goal is for you to feel like your favorite cousin is over — who just happens to have a camera.
How long does the session last? What if my children are being fussy?
I want you to have fun above all else. Before your session, we’ll chat on the phone about ideas that bring joy to you, your partner, and/or your family. Whether we’re at home, enjoying an activity, or spending time at a special place, my role is to quietly document your presence, connection, and joy as it naturally unfolds. If you have any questions you will have my number and we will be in constant connection leading up to the shoot.
